Follow these to the best of your extent.
General Rules
Membership
You must fill out an application for your character and you must be accepted by an administrator before posting in-character; the lounge and C-Box are open to all accepted/unaccepted members.
Once you have been accepted, you can feel free to post anywhere on the forum as long as you keep these rules in mind.
Accounts that are inactive for over a period of 30 days will be deleted from the forum. If you decided to return again as an active member, you are always welcome to create another account and go through the application process again.
Should you break any of the rules listed in this thread, you will receive a series of warnings. If you should insist on breaking the rules after that then your account will be banned and deleted. Depending on the circumstances of your rule-breaking, the admins may decide to delete your account without warning.
All members MUST be 13 years of age or older. Anyone younger than 13 will be deleted, as this is breaking Proboard's Terms of Service.
This forum is rated at 16+ and is guarenteed to have some sort of material of that nature within. This doesn't mean younger players are not allowed, but it is at your own discretion. You have been warned.
Creating Accounts
Please do not use usernames consisting of inappropriate content or random symbols and numbers. If possible, please make your username that of your character name so that we can easily identify you. If we spot usernames with "11111" or "#$%^", then the account will be deleted.
Please limit yourself to three accounts. Before making each new account, the previous account must have at least 25 in character posts. Of course, we have ways of checking to see how many accounts each member has, so please do not try and get around this rule, it will only annoy us.
If you decide at one point that you want to leave the forum for some reason or another then you may of course, delete your own account. However, we would appreciate a PM or some type of notification beforehand. If something has happened that has caused you to leave, we may be able to help work things out or at minimum we will know that you are indeed leaving.
If you do not submit to Administrative authority in any way, all administrators have the authority to ban you at will. Several offenses include arguing with an Administrator's final judgement of a situation, addressing an Administrator/Moderator disrespectfully, or conspiring against this forum. Please understand: You will be immediately and permanently banned from this forum, and your affiliation will be cut.

Role-Playing Guidelines
Characters
Please do not create perfect characters. Everyone has weaknesses, no one is perfect. If your character fits the name "Mary-Sue" or "Gary-Stu" then this is probably a sign that your character would fall under this category. Just don't create them.
Please do not God-Mod. This is when you control the actions of another character without their input. It is also when you act overly powerful with your character. Remember that in real life, we do not always avoid injury or harm, and so your character should reflect this as much as possible. On the flip side, in real life, we are not always in a state of constant illness. Try and keep a balance between these two spectrums. The only time God-Modding is allowed is if the character doesn't really exist on the forum.
Your characters can be children if desired. Just make sure that you are able to role-play them decently and at an intermediate to advanced level. Please note: Members may not have inanimate objects as characters (eg: a car, etc.). Characters based off childish themes (eg: Stitch, "Power-Rangers") are also prohibited.
Make sure to read through the plot. Then, when creating your character, carefully choose your member group. Though it can be changed after time, it is important that you understand which side your character is on.
At any time, you are allowed to kill off your character. However...this does not mean that you have to delete your account. If you do decide to kill off your character then you can post another application for a different character under the same account and simply change your display name. Make sure to notify an admin before killing off your character so we are aware of it. On another note, you may not kill anyone's character unless you have the permission from not only them, but myself and my coadmin. You can request permission through the PM system.
Posting
No ONE-LINERS! Your posts must be at least one paragraph in length, consisting of 8-10 sentences. Any shorter and you will be asked to modify it. If you continue to post short posts that are beneath the posting requirement you will be warned then banned and deleted if you persist. Anyone can come up with a good 8-10 sentences.
Post in third person past tense. I will even provide an example for you to use as a guideline.
Bad Post: "I walk up to Jane and ask her if she wants to go see a movie."
Good Post: Mark walked up to Jane and asked her if she wanted to go see a movie.
Please do not double post. If you need to modify your post, use the "modify" feature.
Make sure to use the "Spell Check" button. It is there to help you, we all make spelling errors sometimes, so please use it before submitting your post.
Try to keep threads organized, post in an "A,B,C" fashion so people in your threads aren't left out.
If you are going to have threads based on romance please make sure you post more than just "Sue kissed Mark". Really people, romance is a lot more than just kissing, make it interesting. Threads like this will be locked and moved to the archives.
Please do not create threads that discuss inappropriate material such as pornography, cutting, suicide, alcoholism, or anything similar. We do realize that these issues occur on a daily basis, but this forum is not a "help" forum, and we are not qualified to help anyone with these issues.
When you are finished with a thread, then please put "The End" somewhere in the last post. This will help us know to move the thread into the archives so that the boards stay uncluttered and free of, old, dead, or finished threads. Even if the thread isn't finished, but has died, or the posters have lost interest, it would be appreciated if you added "move to archive" somewhere in the thread.

Images
Signatures are to be no bigger than 540 x 200 px, avatars no bigger than 100 x 100 px.
Nudity or pornography of any kind is prohibited, even if it is only suggested. This is a viloation of Proboards Terms of Service which you agree upon when registering for the forum. Any images that we see that fall under this category will be removed from your profile and you will be sent a warning PM.
You may only have one picture in your signature. The only exception is if you have three smaller pictures that are around 100 x 100 in size..then you may use three smaller pictures as long as they do not exceed the 540 x 200 requirement for images.
Graphic's creators should keep their creations at 540 x 200 or smaller. If we notice that you are creating signatures for members that are bigger than the size limitations your graphic's thread will be locked and archived.
You are not required to have a signature or avatar, but it makes role-playing with your character easier for other people posting with you. Simply because it helps to know what your posting companion's character looks like.
Do not hot link your images. Upload them to your own host. If we spot hot linked images then they will be removed and you will be warned.
Do not take any images or content from this site, it belongs to the administrators of the forum. If we find that you have taken images and content your account will be banned and deleted immediately. Please just don't do it..be mature, use your own creativity. Taking things from other people is only a sign of your own laziness.
