    Wutai bombed Midgar with Mako Bomb.

    Midgar loses 4 plates and a large area is Mako infected.

    President Shinra is dead.

    Sephiroth claimed to be KIA.

    Breaking News; A Wutai spy was taken into SOLDIER custody today, after the Wutai man tried to flee from SOLDIER. Refugees were able to aid the SOLDIER in stopping the Spy, despite knowing that the man had a bomb. Tragically, bomb experts were unable to disarm the bomb and 81 innocent people died in the subsequent blast. Two SOLDIER were given minor injuries. SOLDIER are expected to return to the scene with aid workers for the Refugees.
